Located just minutes from Auckland’s Eden Park, Full Time Sports Bar & Eatery sets a new benchmark for sports hospitality in New Zealand. A joint venture between The Warriors and Hancocks, the venue was envisioned as a vibrant hub where fans, families, and friends could unite to celebrate their passion for sport.

CTRL Space led the transformation of the former gastro pub into a sleek, contemporary space that balances high-end design with a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere. The interior features a rich, moody palette, polished concrete finishes, and curated sports memorabilia, creating a sophisticated yet casual environment that appeals to die-hard fans and newcomers alike.
The Solution
A standout feature of the fit-out is the integration of Autex Acoustics® Acoustic Timber™ in a Civic Oak grain, cleverly disguised as architectural ceiling rafters. This solution was essential in managing sound within the bustling venue, especially given the large-scale curved display screens broadcasting multiple sports feeds simultaneously. Without acoustic treatment, the space risked becoming overwhelming and noisy, detracting from the immersive experience envisioned.

The Result
By incorporating Acoustic Timber, the design team achieved both aesthetic and functional goals. The acoustic ceiling enhances audio clarity, ensuring conversations and commentary remain crisp and intelligible, even during peak hours. The result is a lively yet comfortable environment where guests can fully engage with the action on screen and each other.
